Sony Announces The NGP

Rumors have been circulating around the web of Sony releasing a new handheld system. Well, last night at their press conference, they put those rumors to rest and unveiled "Codename NGP"!


They've confirmed that they are doing away with the UMD disks in favor of a new flash memory-based card. It will have two thumb-sticks, a front touchscreen, a back touchpad, and front and back cameras. They also confirmed some titles for the system will be Call of Duty, Broken, Gravity Daze, Hot Shots Golf, Hustle Kings, Killzone, LittleBigPlanet, Little Deviants, Reality Fighters, Resistance, Uncharted,  and WipEout. GPU: SGX543MP4+

It's also just been announced that the battery life for this will be 4-5 hours, good enough to pass the time between classes. Nintendo is going to have a lot of competition when this little beauty is released!
